Melville Comprehensive’s Ava Delainey can add two more Gold medals to her trophy case after another successful weekend on the track.
Delainey became a three-time provincial champion in the Girls 400 meter and 100 meter Wheelchair races at the 2024 Saskatchewan High School Provincial Track & Field Championships held this past Friday and Saturday from the Gordie Howe Sportsplex in Saskatoon.
The grade twelve MCS student previously won Gold in those two events in the 2022 and 2023 championships.
Meanwhile Yorkton Regional’s Eddie Baron also captured two medals, winning bronze in the Junior Boys 1500 and 3000 meter races.
