Aalborg Zoo in Denmark has a pretty wild request. Got an unwanted guinea pig, rabbit, chicken, or even a small horse? They’ll take them—not for display, but as dinner for their lions, tigers, and lynx.
The zoo says it’s about keeping things natural and making sure nothing goes to waste. The animals are gently put to sleep before feeding time, but people online are seriously divided. Some think it’s too much, while others say it’s just part of nature. One of our listeners is in the latter camp though lol
