Reader’s ready to roll for summer!

Reader here, back after the long weekend!  I hope you all made the most of yours, despite the weather being less-than-optimal.

I took a quick road trip to the farm, at Conquest.
On the way, I stopped in Saskatoon for a quick visit with my youngest brother Barrett, then made my way to the farm, where I visited with my Mom and Dad, did up some laundry, enjoyed some home cookin’, visited my auntie Alice in the long-term care home in Rosetown, took some naps, and FINALLY switched my tires over from the winter rubber to summer tires.
I ended up driving on my winter wheels longer than I would’ve liked.  I was originally going to switch them over when I was home over the Easter weekend, but when Dad and I pulled them out of storage, much to our chagrin, two of the tires were not in any way roadworthy.
In fact, they were pretty much bald, with one of  them having some serious cracks in it.  Definitely not safe to drive on, so I stuck with the winter wheels a bit longer (which actually worked out pretty well, after we got that late blast of winter, that made a mess of everything!)
But now, my tires are switched over, and after making the trek back to Yorkton, I just need to whip out my trusty… torque wrench (get your minds out of the gutter!), and check the lugs, to make sure none of them loosened up during the trip.
Now, with the summer tires on, I should think about where I may drive with them.  I have some vacation time coming up at the end of August… were should I go?
