Reader here, and I have to admit, I’m getting excited. Super Bowl 59 is coming up on Sunday, and I’m looking forward to the big game.
I plan to crush some wings, eat some pizza, and hold down the couch as the NFL’s best go at in in New Orleans.

It should be a great one, as Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs look to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls, when they clash with the Philadelphia Eagles, led by Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown.
As well, for the second time in three years, it’s the “Andy Reid Bowl,” as K.C.’s head coach is the winningest coach of all-time for both clubs, after leading the Eagles to 130 wins and one appearance in the big game between 1999 and 2012, before moving on to Kansas City, where he’s racked up another 143 wins, to go along with four Super Bowl appearances leading to three Vince Lombardi Trophies.
I will say, I’m hoping that Philly (my second-favourite team behind the woeful Tennessee Titans) can get it done and deny the Chiefs a threepeat, but that said, I’m not like so many others that are wailing and gnashing their teeth, grasping at ridiculous conspiracy theories, over the prospect of K.C. winning again.
I will always be a Mahomes fan, and he is simply one of the most fun players to watch in any sports. Not to mention, he seems to be a pretty good dude to boot.
But to look further into the matchup, let’s compare the two cities themselves. The “City of Brotherly Love” vs. the “City of Fountains.”
I put the question to our A.I. assistant, to compare the two cities, and here’s what it came up with.
First, lets look at Philly.
History Buffs Rejoice: Wander through the pages of history with a visit to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the U.S. Constitution was born. Philly is a haven for those who crave a connection to the past.
Cheesesteak Capital: Sink your teeth into Philly’s world-famous cheesesteaks, a culinary masterpiece that has foodies coming back for more. From Pat’s to Geno’s, the debate over the best cheesesteak is as heated as ever!

Art & Culture: Explore the vibrant arts scene, from the iconic steps of the Rocky Statue to the extensive Philadelphia Museum of Art. The city’s murals tell stories of its diverse communities and are a feast for the eyes.
Now, let’s compare it with K.C..
Jazz & BBQ: Let the soulful sounds of jazz fill your ears as you savor Kansas City’s legendary BBQ. Known for its slow-cooked, mouthwatering ribs and brisket, KC is a paradise for meat lovers and music enthusiasts alike.

Midwestern Warmth: Experience the genuine hospitality and laid-back lifestyle that make Kansas City feel like home. The friendly locals are always ready to share a smile and a story.
Fountains Galore: With more fountains than Rome, Kansas City lives up to its nickname as the City of Fountains. Each one is a work of art, adding a splash of beauty to the urban landscape.
Whether you’re drawn by history, culture, or cuisine, both Philadelphia and Kansas City offer something special. Which city’s vibe speaks to you? And who are you rooting for in the big game?
My head says Chiefs, but my heart says Eagles. Go Birds!
Now, I know the Bears aren’t playing this Sunday, but I thought I’d wrap up with a throwback, featuring the Bears squad that were victorious in Super Bowl XX. Enjoy!
