It’s February 4th (F4 lol) and Marvel released the first full trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps! Now I’m a huge Marvel fan, and an even bigger fan of the FF so it goes without saying that I’m excited. Check out the trailer below!

Now, if there’s one thing I love about this movie more than anything so far, it’s the costume design. The team’s suits are pitch perfect adaptation of their original blue and white outfits, with a whole lot of retro 60s flare added on top. They also (hopefully) indicate a move away from the basketball-textured, faux military look that superheroes have tended towards ever since the Dark Knight. The Thing looks especially good, thanks to a healthy mix of CG and practical effects.

This behind the scene shot leaked last year during filming, and I honestly believed it was just a reference dummy, but if you look closely in the trailers Ben is actually there in the shots (with some understandable digital touch-ups around the face and fingers).
