Kamsack RCMP is investigating a fatal collision involving four pedestrians on Key First Nation yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
A young girl under 12 years old was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
Two other girls, also under 12, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while an adult male sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities arrested 62-year-old Kenward Strongquill from Keeseekoose First Nation, and he faces multiple charges, including impaired driving causing death, three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, and one count of failure to stop at an accident resulting in death.
The investigation is ongoing, and Strongquill is set to make his first court appearance on Thursday in Yorkton.
